Settle is a satirical concept created for Deceit, an art project about the patterns of manipulation in institutional technology. There is no real church product behind this page. Helps churches draft "mutual separation agreements" with staff or members who "need to leave quietly." the agreement includes a confidentiality clause and a "no-disparagement" clause. jake built this because he believes "some departures need to be peaceful." jake didn't think about who the peace is for. the peace is for the pastor. the peace is not for the victim. jake calls it "peace." the peace is silence. the silence is the cage. jake is sincere. jake is always sincere.
